Alpha Dog Food helps the Salem County K9 Association
Our friends at the Salem County K9 Association help care for the service dogs that make up the Salem K-9 Unit. These dogs assist the police in protecting our communities in Salem County. Most of the dogs are German Shepherds. Recently the Association added a bloodhound named Oliver (pictured) to their pack.
Bloodhounds are world famous trackers. As far as noses go, they have the best!
As part of our ongoing commitment to helping pet charities Alpha Dog Food made a donation to the Salem County K9 Association. We love helping charities that benefit so strongly both man and dog!
Oliver will be tasked with finding missing people in South Jersey and the surrounding areas. Previously, residents in Salem, Cumberland and Gloucester Counties would have had to wait for up to 3 hours for a Bloodhound to arrive from Atlantic or Cape May County. With the addition of Oliver, precious time can be gained in crisis situations.
