The dogs love the food by the way. I mixed it with the old food to ease them into it and my one dog actually ate around the old food, only eating the Alpha Dog Food.

We had three large dogs, sadly one recently died of old age, so I’m adjusting my subscription. Have been using Alpha Dog Food for almost 2 years now and love the service. I just happened to stumble onto Alpha Dog Food when I was doing research as what to feed my little 3 lb, 14 year old York/Chi (Kandi) who has a difficult time chewing dry dog food. I had put her on a semi-moist dog food, but wasn’t really happy with the ingredients. After hours of searching, I found Alpha and made a phone call inquiring about the food. I was reluctant because on dry foods before, they would just turn their noses up at it. I was sent some Alpha Food to try on Kandi and Kayti and that turned out to be a real surprise for me. They were both on my bed, and I had put the food in their bowl, but I thought I would just try one little kibble on Kandi to see her reaction, and what a reaction it was. She took that one bite and started whining to get off the bed. So, I put her down, and she made a bee-line for her food bowl. Wouldn’t even let Kayti near it. Well, I never thought she would come up for air. After 5 minutes, she was still at it, like she never ate before. I never saw such a reaction in all my 14 years of having her. Needless to say, I ordered Alpha to be delivered and a very, happy ending to a very finicky eater with a hard time chewing. She had no problems whatsoever chewing her dog food. Kandi & Kayti both love it, and I’m sold on it. I highly recommend it, and especially if you have an older or finicky dog(s) when it comes to dry food.Thank You Alpha and your Staff. I am actually from the Hamilton Township PTA. Someone gave one of our members samples of the dog food at one of our meetings last year. I have not been able to find another dog food my dog will eat since she had yours. So after some research I was able to find the website and order what I think (I hope anyway) was the sample.
